True Root is an Austin based plant rental and design company inspired by decades of working in the live events industry and a deep rooted passion for plants.

Founded by longtime friends Aly Ehlinger and Karly Tuckness, True Root was created around a simple belief: every space is better with plants. Whether it's a home, office, event, or festival, thoughtfully placed greenery creates a more welcoming, inspiring, and memorable environment. So, they built a company around that idea. 

Aly is a native Texan and proud third generation Longhorn who wears her Texas roots as proudly as she wears her love for her dogs and her plants. Karly is a native Austinite and fellow Longhorn who is most at home in the kitchen cooking up something new, or coming up with an excuse to throw a dinner party.

Deeply rooted in Austin but serving all of Texas, True Root believes plants make everything better. More than just décor, plants bring life, joy, and a sense of calm to the spaces where we live, work, and gather. Homes, offices, events, festivals - every space is an opportunity to add something living and beautiful. True Root handles it all, from design to delivery to the finishing touch that makes any space feel complete.
